About Orsett & Thurrock Cricket Club
Situated in the village of Orsett, O&TCC is a community focused club that runs over 20 sides, from under 8s up to the adult first team and including both girls and womens teams.
The club has a strong philosophy to promote from within with most of the first team having come through the club's youth ranks.
We run coaching from under 5 up to under 19 for boys and girls as well as adult training for both men and women.

Coaching

1-2-1

A number of the coaches are available to hire for 1-2-1 sessions, including our overseas star Manoj

Fulltrack AI

In use at all net sessions Fulltrack AI gives our players the ability to analyse their sessions, identify weaknesses and improve that speed, movement and accuracy as well giving the coaches a frame by frame video analysis tool

Stancebeam

Another tool to enable our players to take ownership of, and turbocharge their own learning and development to complement the coaching they receive away from sessions. Stancebeam tracks the bats swing and gives you feedback which you can then use to improve your technique in conjunction with the coaches

Even if you have never played before, if you are between reception and year 6, we are part of the ECB national schemes and run Allstars (Reception to year 2), Dynamos (Boys: Years 3-6) and Girls Dynamos (Girls: Years 3-6) Use the button below to go to the ECB site, find us, sign up and we'll see you at the start of the season!! If you are outside of the sign up period - just contact us and we will tell you the best course of action

Whether you have just moved into the area, picking the sport back up again or want to know more about us, we are open to older and more experienced youth players as well. What We Do (And When)

When you have over a dozen youth teams, there needs to be a LOT of training. Our School Lane ground is in use every night of the week from 5 year olds in all stars up to the first team captain at adults training (see Training Nights page for more info). We train over 200 youngsters (and more than a few adults). You can find our proposed training schedule for summer of 2024 below. Before that though we have nearly 140 kids training throughout the winter under the supervision of our team of ECB coaches and using the latest coaching technology Fulltrack AI and Stancebeam to take ownership of improving their own game away from the sessions For information of our membership rates please click the button below

Pricing

 For all primary school children aside from those who are playing hardball cricket, sign up via the ECB national Allstar and Dynamos schemes. These will be priced at £50 but we will extend the normal 8 week programme to all 18 weeks of the season (10 weeks extra for just £10!!!)

 Every child from school year 7 to 14 ( 1st year Uni) the annual fee is £80, Anyone older would sign up with the senior side of the club and should contact the senior side of the club using the button below

 There is a discount £20 every additional immediate family member that is signed up outside of Allstars and Dynamos - this applies to older or younger siblings or parents (doesn't apply to grandparents, aunts, uncles or cousins) Sadly we cannot apply this if both children are in Allstars and Dynamos
